SUMMARY:Access to Capital & Cash Flow
DESCRIPTION:Join us for this important workshop on cash flow and access to capital. \nAccess to capital empowers new business owners by teaching practical steps to secure microloans. Learn how to qualify\, apply\, and make informed decisions between credit union and bank financing options. \n>>REGISTER HERE << \nAccess to capital is one of the most common barriers to launching and scaling a business. Early-stage companies often struggle with cash flow\, equipment purchases\, inventory\, marketing\, and startup expenses\, and microloans are a realistic first source of funding when traditional lending may be out of reach. \nUnderstanding how to qualify and apply improves your readiness in the eyes of lenders. The ability to compare credit union versus bank financing is also strategically valuable. These institutions can differ on underwriting criteria\, interest rates\, fees\, collateral requirements\, and relationship-based lending. Knowing the distinctions can help you choose the option that best fits your business model\, growth plans\, and risk tolerance rather than accepting the first offer available. \nPractical knowledge about microloans and financing options can directly impact your ability to start\, stabilize\, and grow a new venture! \nRegister today!

SUMMARY:Ignite Your Business With Storytelling: 2-Day Retreat

Unfortunately\, most of us struggle to communicate our business ideas\, visions\, and values when it comes to telling our stories. This lack of story cohesion confuses clients and prevents them from establishing an emotional connection with you and your brand. \nThis doesn’t have to be the case. \nOur Business Storytelling Retreat is a 2-day experience designed to teach you the power of storytelling and inspire you to confidently communicate the value you deliver to others. You’ll shape your experiences and ideas into engaging narratives and learn to deliver them with absolute clarity. \nBy attending our retreat\, you’ll learn how to: \n\nCraft stories that connect with others\nImplement a repeatable storytelling framework in your business\nCommunicate with other entrepreneurs about your ideas and experiences\nGain the confidence needed to share stories effectively\nApply your stories in real-world business scenarios\n\nYour story can make or break the relationships you build with your clients. Register now for a chance to tell your story the right way. Open to veteran-led companies. \nRegister \nPresented By: Stan Miller\, Founder of Storicate \nWho: CEO or C-Suite Executive of a Veteran-Led Company \nWhen: January 16 and 17\, 2026 \nWhere: National Entrepreneur Center\, Orlando\, FL \nCost: Complementary for qualified Veteran-Led Companies\, thanks to our great partners \nNote: Lunch Provided \n2 Day Agenda: \n\nJanuary 16\n\n10am-4pm – Day 1\n4pm-5:30pm – Networking Event\n\n\nJanuary 17\n\n10am-4pm – Day 2\n\n\n\nAbout the presenter: Stan Miller \nI (Stan Miller) haven’t had a textbook career journey. When I started down the sales path working for a telecommunications giant\, I was coming in with no college education and no credentials. But humbling early life experiences have taught me the importance of an exceptional work ethic and instilled in me a strong desire to win\, bringing me to my current role as Founder of Storicate. (https://www.storicate.com/) \nCombining my background with what I’ve learned in my sales-centered experiences\, I’ve discovered a consistent\, critical piece of the process: storytelling. Whether you’re part of a company selling a service or figuring out the next step in your career timeline\, our stories are at the heart of everything we do; they’re who we are\, and how we communicate our value to others. \nDeveloping a framework to help people explain their career stories has become my passion. Why? Because I spent most of my life focused on experience\, education\, and accomplishments and none of it mattered if I couldn’t articulate it. I’ve provided support and guidance for over 3000 people – from recent college grads to C-Level executives – in my workshops and one-on-one coaching sessions. I’ve found a niche in helping people recognize their potential so that they can achieve greatness in their careers. \nFrom not knowing if college was ever going to be an option to graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Media Communications from Full Sail University in 2018\, from no experience to leadership positions\, it’s been rewarding to see my own narrative take shape. I’d love to hear your story and help you communicate it\, so let’s connect! \nLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/stanmiller/ \nInsta/Facebook @careerstoryteller

SUMMARY:Federal Certifications Available to Veteran-Owned Small Businesses
DESCRIPTION:>>>RSVP here \nBefore you can start to conduct business with the federal government your business must obtain the proper certifications so you make maximum use of regulatory preferences under the Federal Acquisition Regulation. \nSmall business certifications are like professional certifications; they document a special capability or status that will help you compete in the marketplace. Unlike permits and licenses\, you do not need to obtain certifications to legally operate. \nHowever\, in order to take advantage of business opportunities at the federal level\, such as government contracts\, you may need to obtain some certifications. Federal\, state and local governments offer businesses opportunities to sell billions of dollars’ worth of products and services. \nMany government agencies require that some percentage of the procurements be set aside for small businesses. Certifying your business can definitely help you successfully compete for government contracts. We will discuss the eligibility and places to register as well as free assistance available to help you complete the process. \nPresenter: Ed Ramos is a Senior Area Manager with the U.S. Small Business Administration assigned to Central Florida. \n>>>RSVP here
