Cohort Based Training

VEI Launch

Introduces veterans to the Business Model Canvas and provides in-depth insight into the key steps needed to build a startup. The cohort will enable veterans at the idea stage or in the early stages of business development to learn how to rapidly develop and test ideas by gathering customer and marketplace feedback. This methodology also enables veterans to validate their business model by focusing on searching for pain points and unmet needs of their customers. This iterative process enables veterans to quickly pivot with the goal of ultimately building the foundation for a viable business model.

6 sessions, 3 hours per session.

VEI Scale Up

For veteran led companies generating revenue and looking to scale. The cohort helps veterans clarify business concepts or models by walking them through the steps of planning, adjusting and re-shaping the business model and/or growth plan. The course will introduces veterans to resources and advisors that could provide invaluable support in laying the foundation for a successful company while mapping out future plans to scale.

6 sessions, 3 hours per session.

Workshops

Topics based workshops bring forth subject matter experts to address specific business topics in virtual or in person session. Topics include but are not limited:

Workshops range between 1.5 hours to 2 hours

Networking Events

Coaching & Mentoring

Veteran led businesses who, are participating in or have graduated from our cohorts, can access one on one coaching and mentoring with a business certified coach to help the veteran work on the business. To find out more, please sign up for one of our cohorts.

Veteran Business Summit

The Veteran Business Summit, an initiative by the Veterans Entrepreneurship Initiative (VEI), provides the military veteran business community with a platform to educate, empower and support early-stage, veteran-led companies with innovative products and services. The Veteran Business Summit convenes veteran business owners and leaders from across the region with the goal of fostering innovation and collaboration amongst the military veteran business community to further empower veterans in entrepreneurship.

SPEAR Accelerator

The SPEAR Accelerator, an initiative powered by the Veterans Entrepreneurship Initiative (VEI), is dedicated to empowering veteran-led tech startups into industry leading ventures.

Each cohort is strategically focused on an industry vertical, providing tailored support, expert mentorship and strategic collaboration opportunities with major industry leaders

We harness the unique leadership skills, tenacity, and resilience of veterans, pairing them with the resources, mentorship, and network they need to make a significant impact in the technology sector.

VEI Programs are available free of charge to military veterans, transitioning military members, as well as a National Guard members & Reservist thanks to our partners. VEl is a veteran-led 501(c) Non-Profit organization.
